Ancient Nuu-chah-nulth Cultures of Pacific Rim National Park

Imagine experiencing and learning about the ancient coastal civilizations of the Northwest Coast with an expert who has studied their oral histories and material remains for more than 40 years. This is exactly what we’ll be doing with archaeologist and ethnographer Denis St. Claire this spring in the Broken Group Islands of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. In addition, we’ll be on the lookout for migrating Pacific gray whales,and we’ll explore old-growth rainforests and diverse intertidal communities, all while also enjoying sailing, kayaking, and wonderful meals and accommodation aboard the Passing Cloud.
