Kyle is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Victoria and a biologist with the Raincoast Conservation Foundation. He studies wildlife management and conservation and is part an international collaboration monitoring black and grizzly bear populations in collaboration with, and in the territories of, the Haíɫzaqv, Kitasoo/Xai’xais, Wuikinuxv, and Nuxalk First Nations. Born in Ottawa, he feels very fortunate to now be based in Wágḷísḷa (Bella Bella), W̓áxv:w̓uísax̌vs Haíɫzaqv.
