With almost two decades of professional guiding experience, Liam has guided on expeditions to the Southern Ocean including the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. Liam has also guided vast areas of the Pacific Ocean working on board super yachts including the Galapagos Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji.

 

In 2015, Liam joined Outer Shores Expeditions exploring the wild coasts of the Great Bear Rainforest, Haida Gwaii and the Salish Sea and has been on board ever since.

 

Liam is certified with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, Interpretive Guides Association, Commercial Bear Viewing Association and studied Coastal Adventure Tourism at North Island College. He is a sailor and explorer whose patience and awareness for safety has molded him into a passionate guide and outdoor educator.

 

When he’s not working at Outer Shores Expeditions or off guiding trips in the polar regions, Liam is busy as owner of Long Beach Nature Tours in Tofino, BC and is an active member of West Coast Inland Search and Rescue.
